There will be computer help provided for anyone interested in learning more about how to use their computer on the following Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am on Feb 8, 15, 22, 29, Mar 7, 14, 21, 28, Apr 4, 11, 18.
1. Kejimkujik National Park. Explore wildlife and take a canoe ride across one of the many lakes.
2. North Queens Heritage House Museum.
3. Queens County Farmer’s Market at the Caledonia Fair Grounds.
4. Queens County Fair. One of the oldest fair’s in Canada and still growing!
5. Experience one of our home cooked meals at one of our many community breakfasts or suppers.
6. Have a picnic near the babbling brook at Cameron’s Lake Picnic Park
7. McGowan Lake Fish Hatchery, learn the life span of the speckled trout.
8. Stay in a tipi at the Mersey River Chalets.
9. Take a Scenic Drive of the area and explore our back roads.
10. Take a Dip at the North Queens Aquatic Centre.

“Get Moving in the Morning”
A program of activities to Promote Health and Fitness in our Community

There will be four morning classes a week starting at 10 a.m.
Four different instructors showing four different kinds of physical
activities.
Monday: Yoga - teaches to unite body, mind and spirit. It helps with
balance, flexibility and muscle tone. It teaches relaxation techniques
and stress management. Equipment needed: Yoga mat if you have one, small pillow, blanket.
Tuesday: Karate – Sport Karate emphasizes aerobic exercise, power,
agility, and flexibility and stress management. Basic Karate movements
involve correct posture, stability, flexibility and help to develop
positive energy and self-confidence.
Wednesday: Stretch and Strengthen helps build muscle (especially what we
lose due to aging) and how to stretch to avoid muscle strain. Equipment
needed: Yoga mat if you have one, bath towel, weights if you want to use
them.
Friday: Zumba - A fun Latin dance which is also aerobic exercise.
Appropriate dry footwear is required for all sessions, and please bring your own water.
The cost is $25.00 a month for all 16 classes paid at the first of the
month. January will be $12.50 for the remaining two week period.
